A man which is one of the greatest painters of all time

Leonardo Da Vinci was a universal genius and humanist philosopher of the 15th century. He is known worldwide through his paintings as his inventions, but also as the symbol of man of the Renaissance.

Leonardo Da Vinci was born in Florence, Italy April 15, 1452 and died in Amboise in France on May 2, 1519. After growing up in Vinci, he became a student of a famous painter and sculptor. He then works in Rome, Bologna and Venice and then finish the last years of his life in France, at the invitation of King Francis 1st. It is primarily as a painter he is recognized. La Joconde and La Cene, two of his most famous works are world famous paintings, often copied and parodied, and his drawing L'Homme de Vitruve is also included in many derivative works. Nevertheless, these few works, together with his notebooks containing drawings, scientific diagrams and reflections on the nature of painting, are a legacy to the following generations of artists.
