The vet that lived his life to the peak

Frank is a hero because he sacrificed his life to fight for our country. Frank was the oldest World War veteran to pass, at 110 years old. He attended the Honors flight for the last time in 2015, at 109 years old.

My hero grew up with seven other siblings, had little education before joining the army. Frank was a part of World War 2 and also lived through two world wars and 19 presidents. Levington was never married nor had children. He was part of the US army and served in Italy, in World War 2. Frank served from September 1943 to January 1944 and was discharged in 1945.
