Thomas Fowell Buxton was deputy of the parliament of the United Kingdom. It's one of the political personalities committed in the abolition of slavery in the United Kingdom in 1823.
He was sent away to school at a very young age. Thomas did not work hard at school and left at 15 years of age. He later married Hannah Gurney in Norfolk. He qualifed from Trinty College.Dublin ,with the Highest possible honour. He helped raise thousands of pounds for the poor weavers in Spitalfields. Thomas was father to 11 children but only five survive to adulthood. Four of his children died over a period of just five weeks. He's one of the political personalities committed in the abolition of slavery in the united kingdom in 1823. He died in Norfolk in 1845.
