Rosa Parks a civil rights activists never thought that segregation was okay. One afternoon in Tuskegee, Alabama she made a decision that started a movement. Rosa was sitting in the middle section of a bus. A man gets on the bus and she is told to leave her seat. She refused, her feet were tired and she thought that this man had no right to take the seat from her. After a long period of refusing police are called to escort her off the bus. She was arrested. Word spreads and now blacks were standing up for their rights. She showed people that they were equals to anyone else.
