Marie Curie was the first women to become a professor at the University of Paris. She discovered radium and polonium. She won the Nobel Prize of Physics and Chemistry.

Marie Curie was born on November 7, 1867 in Poland. She married Pierre Curie. She became a scientist and discovered radioactivity, radium, and polonium. She was given the Nobel Prize in Physics and Chemistry. Later in 1934, she died of radiation.
