The man who had a dream

Martin Luther King Jr. was an African American who spent his time talking about how blacks should have the same rights.

Martin Luther King had different colored skin, so grew up with different rights from whites. He didn't like the rules while growing up so he wanted to change his rights. When he grew up he went around giving speeches about giving equal rights to everyone. he ended up helping African Americans get their basic rights. One of his most famous speeches was his I have Dream speech. This speech helped people think about giving equal rights to everyone. He was then latter assassinated.

African Americans weren't allowed to drink from the same drinking, eat at the same restaurants, or go to the same schools. And African Americans doing things whites did was unspoken.
